Asscher Solitaire Necklace

A Solitaire necklace with a single Asscher cut diamond joined directly to a delicate chain.

At the center sits an Asscher cut, composed in its square form and beautiful in the step cut layered many times over toward the middle. A design that lets a transparency that seems to draw the eye inward, and a geometric light, be enjoyed in one stone alone, with no ornament added.

Joining the chain directly to both sides of the diamond gives a minimal piece in which the Asscher cut appears to float at the middle of the décolleté. Depending on the angle of view the light of the step cut layers upon itself, producing a quiet, refined expression.
