Pear & Marquise Butterfly Necklace

A necklace combining two different diamond shapes — Pear Shape and Marquise cut — to draw a butterfly.

The upper wings take the elongated, sharp form of a Marquise cut. The lower wings take a Pear Shape drawing soft curves. Making the most of the very form each diamond holds expresses the dimensional silhouette of a butterfly with its wings spread.

Joining a delicate chain directly to the motif gives the bearing of a diamond butterfly floating lightly at the breast.
